Two days ago, Plants VS Zombies 2 became available for download on the Google Play Store (though South African users would need some savvy to find it). It’s been a long awaited game, and one that I awaited with trepidation, owing to EA Games taking over publishing.

So E3 kicked off yesterday and so did the tsunami of awesome news coming from the world of geekery and gaming. I’m going to be honest, the only news I was REALLY chomping at the bit for was the promised multiplayer footage from Battlefield 4 and DICE.
This week, though, I think we’re going to be all Man of Steeled-out, mostly because it’s about two weeks until it releases and the marketing is being hyped up. Let’s hope it lives up to the hype. But don’t worry, with E3 just around the corner, there’s bound to be a kak-load of cool news coming our way.

Those of you interested in technology would have been aware of Microsoft’s big reveal of the next generation Xbox on 21 May. I was ready for it, loose slacks and suspicious bottle of sunscreen at the ready; sitting at my PC to watch the launch as streamed by the good people at IGN, and poised to stroke my loins with the veracity that MS was bound to excite in me.
